  • Cover your head and neck under sturdy furniture.
  • Hold on until shaking stops.
  • Stay away from windows. Do not use elevators.
  • Check for injuries and provide first aid if trained.
  • Expect aftershocks. Move carefully.
  • If you smell gas or see damage, turn off utilities if safe.
  • Follow official updates and avoid damaged buildings.
